Being the perpetual broke-ass, I was never able to buy my mother a nice gift for the hallmark holiday. So, I wrote her a song. This was some ten years ago now, but I still rather like it.
Piano and a mic. Another dip into the past, this was recorded in about 2001, while I was in the depths of my drug addiction. Turns out that staying up for weeks at a time isn't good for the old psychosis. Recorded live.
A heart-wrenching live composition I played once, made up as I went along, and haven't played since. Using a Yamaha DX7 as a midi controller for two separate synths I brought the piano together with a string pad .. I was in a sad place at that time in my life and this song captures it.
